Savings Provision

Pub. L. 111–259, title III, § 313(b)(2), Oct. 7, 2010, 124 Stat. 2666, provided that:

“Notwithstanding the repeals made by paragraph (1) [repealing this section, amending provisions set out as a note under section 3023 of this title, and repealing provisions set out as a note under section 3021 of this title], nothing in this subsection [repealing this section, amending provisions set out as a note under section 3023 of this title, and repealing provisions set out as a note under section 3021 of this title] shall be construed to amend, modify, or abrogate any agreement, contract, or employment relationship that was in effect in relation to the provisions repealed under paragraph (1) on the day prior to the date of the enactment of this Act [Oct. 7, 2010].”
